Povidone Iodine 7.5% Scrub Sol

• Commonly applied to the skin before injections, taking blood sample, punctures and minor surgery.
• Used as undiluted paint
• Apply onto the skin areas to be disinfected until they are completely wet. Allow to take effect for one minute.

• Prepare the surgical site by washing with sterile Povidone Iodine Solution saturated swab.
• For septic surgery, first disinfect the site of the planned incision and then the neighboring skin areas.
• For septic operative procedures, begin disinfection at the periphery.
• The surgical site must be disinfected at least twice. Allow to take effect for at least five minutes. Incision foils may only be applied after drying.

• After the wound has been closed and any incision foil removed, clean the surface and surrounding skin areas with a sterile Povidone Iodine Solution saturated swab
• Cover the wound while the skin is stil moist or, if adhesion is necessary, after the skin has dried.
